We're going to Beijing in June.
This was originally supposed to be a trip for our third anniversary, but the nice people at H.I.S. had a sale on flights for early June. A good thing, too, because after taxes and fees, our 23,000 yen tickets cost 42,500 yen each.
Anyway, for those you who would like to know this sort of thing, here's our flight schedule.
2007/06/06 18:00 Depart Narita for Beijing on flight JL789.
2007/06/06 20:55 Arrive in Beijing.
2007/06/10 08:25 Depart Beijing for Narita on flight JL780.
2007/06/10 12:50 Arrive in Narita.
Now one of us has to figure out a way to get to the Chinese embassy in Tokyo sometime in the next week or two. Not only do we need to aquire visas ahead of time, but the Chinese government charges US citizens a higher rate than other nationalities (around $50, versus $30).
Not that I really care. We get to see Beijing, after all.
